I attended one of my photography Meet-up groups last night- “The Gathering of Photographers”, and someone suggested I try cropping this photo. I like the idea, it’s the most interesting part of the photo and I was not crazy about the top part. Let me know your thoughts!
Being free museum day, we went to the Umlauf Sculpture Garden & Museum. We were lucky enough to be there between soaking rain storms! I managed to snap this photo between drizzle. It was so beautiful there, and gorgeous sculptures!
This has to be one of the cutest most photographed little boys ever! (yes, his mom follows him with a camera also.) He came over to hang out and swim at the pool. I love photographing little kids. They are just being themselves, so if you are willing to spend a little time and take quite a few shots you will get amazing photos, just about every time!
Not sure if this is a Blue Heron or not, but it’s the closest I could find on google. We went down to Barton Creek to swim, and it was not flowing much in the area that we went to, but before we left, we did see this amazing bird that wanted to have his photo taken! It waited on the rock until I got my camera out, stuck around for a few poses, then flew away. I am impressed that I got the photo of him flying! Gorgeous!
I was very excited to get this shot. I think the dragonfly was posing for me, it was just hanging out until I was done! (I love my camera!!!)
The pool sure looked good today! I think it’s about time to take a dip in it!!!
It was quite a warm and sticky afternoon! Doesn’t this look refreshing? A nice big glass of ice water!
Rain…That pretty much sums up today! I always wanted to photograph drops on the windshield, so here it is!
