It takes work…

It takes work to have the life you were meant to have. Working hard at a job and making lots of money is not what I am talking about. I’m talking about the work to unlearn a lifetime of belief systems. The work to learn about yourself, the real you. To watch your thoughts, your emotions, behavior, and dig deep to figure them out.
One of the simplest things I think people can do to start is meditate. Most say that they tried it and can’t do it because their mind is too busy. I believe that is exactly the reason why you should do it! The more you do it the better you will be at it (that’s why they call it a practice!). There are several places you can find guided meditations with music that will give you mantras to repeat (like on YouTube).  I personally started meditating with the Deepak Chopra & Oprah 21 day Meditation Experience (new ones are available for free a few times a year, as of today you can still access day 8 of the latest one). I found them extremely helpful and easy to follow. The purpose of meditation is not to completely clear your mind, but as you have thoughts surface just let them be and pass through. It can be as simple as focusing on your breath!
Give yourself a month of meditating and see what happens. You may be surprised at the change in you!  I bet you will like the change!
