Well, I missed getting the shot of the first bloom. Of course I saw it as I was running late out the door on my way to work this morning! I was not expecting it to bloom so quick! I am ready for the next one! Tripod- ready, camera settings- ready. Bloom #2, I am ready!!
I am so excited! I have 2 Night Blooming Cereus plants and they both have buds on them! Here’s one of the buds. I will try to photograph it every day and watch for the big bloom!
Well, who knew? All I had to do is ignore it and it would come back to life! I got this as a gift over a year ago, and last summer I figured it died. It sat outside in the 100+ weather, then this winter it froze. I forgot all about it and I happened to notice it the other day, happy as could be! Maybe it will bloom!! 🙂
Another day at home trying to figure out what to photograph. It was still light, so I went out on my porch and took a few photos. I love this little plant. My Ice Plant, it just adds a punch of color, and you can really ignore it!
Ok, I did not take this photo today, but I was looking through my photos to see if there was anything that would be really cool turned into black and white. I really like the contrast in this photo.
I came across these beautiful red flowers today, it was a huge vine and it was full of them!
Here’s some cute flowers they planted in our complex. Nice and colorful!
This photo is really untouched (just a bit of cropping). The flower was really this color. Gorgeous!!!
I did not take any photos for 2 days! So I am making up for it today by posting 3 different photos.
I love these plants. So dramatic! The flowers are really pretty and interesting, and there are so many blooms! I also love the bright blue sky behind it! It was a gorgeous day!
I got some gorgeous flowers today at work for Administrative Professionals Day/Week. I also got an amazing chocolate cake from Upper Crust Bakery and a bottle of wine! I was such a nice surprise! (I think they missed me while I was on vacation! I should go on vacation more often!) 🙂
