I went to my friend’s house out in Volente to shoot some headshots and photos of her working in her studio. We spent several hours there and I got a great tour of her house and the grounds around it. Beautiful place! We came across these red berries in a dry creek bed.
Not sure if this is a Blue Heron or not, but it’s the closest I could find on google. We went down to Barton Creek to swim, and it was not flowing much in the area that we went to, but before we left, we did see this amazing bird that wanted to have his photo taken! It waited on the rock until I got my camera out, stuck around for a few poses, then flew away. I am impressed that I got the photo of him flying! Gorgeous!
I decided to play around with my camera in the dark. It amazes me how much light gets picked up by the camera! The hardest thing to do is focusing. After several shots this was the sharpest one. It’s not the most exciting photo, but cool anyway. This is off our balcony over Bouldin Creek.
Went again to the Barton Creek Greenbelt, to show my friend, and of course it was beautiful down there! (Thank you Mother Nature for all the rain!!). Here’s a photo of the creek and a tree I came across with a heart shaped hole in it! This is at The Flats, which you take the Barton Hills Access at 2010 Homedale, right behind Barton Hills Elementary. Easy trail!
It was a beautiful cold afternoon, (not for long according to the weather man), so I decided to step out to the creek behind the apartment and get some shots. I could not make up my mind on which one to post, so here are two!
