Yes, I am a chocoholic! I LOVE chocolate! My daughter knows me well, she greeted me on my birthday walking in the door with a chocolate cupcake with chocolate frosting and chocolate sprinkles! It came from Hey Cupcake! and it was delicious, I highly recommend it! 🙂
We had a lovely dinner at my friend’s house on Christmas Eve, to celebrate Christmas, and to celebrate her birthday. We had these amazing steaks that my husband helped prepare (I helped some…but someone had to take pictures! 🙂 )

My daughter and I decided to have fun and take photos of milk pouring into coffee. It is quite fascinating to watch them flowing into each other. Here is a bit of a sequence of my photos. (Pouring provided by Valerie 🙂 )
My friend Kay Hughes had the reception for her encaustic “Black & White and Vintage Cars Art Exhibit” yesterday at Fair Bean Coffee on S. 1st St.. The show is just fabulous, if you get a chance to go see it, it will be up through July 5th. Also take a look at her work on her website Knott Garden Art! Here’s a couple of photos from the reception.
My friend Kathi and I decided to try the Quattro Gatti Ristorante tonight. It’s located on 908 Congress Ave, Austin, which happens to be the space we had an art show a couple of years ago. We enjoyed it very much! Everyone was super nice and friendly, and our Montanara Pizza was wonderful. We had a glass of wine with it and Tiramisu for dessert. We had a wonderful time. Here are a few photos of the place.
We went to Central Market today for the Opening Ceremony for the “Passport Argentina” event. Very cool! I am so excited they have alfajores! (Yummmm) They had some music, wine and food from Argentina. They will be doing this through Sunday May 23rd. Here’s a couple of photos from tonight.
We tried out Red’s Porch on South Lamar tonight and we liked it! The view is great, the Margaritas were pretty good (I personally tried them 🙂 ), and the food was pretty good. We tried the Fried Stuffed Olives, which were pretty darn good! Stuffed with Bleu Cheese & Beer Battered. Yum! This was the view from there.
